Spiritual Principles
We, the believers in the body of Christ have a tremendous power available to us each day of our lives if we know what it is and how to avail ourselves of it. This power inherent in the Word of God is divine, almighty, and all-encompassing when we know our rights in Christ Jesus, the seed of Abraham and how to make use of it.
1 Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age; and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things. Genesis 24:1
If this message gets deep into your spirit, you will not only bless yourself but everyone that is surrounding your life. See what our gracious Lord has done for you and me through the legacy which He left us in His Word. Setting the power of God into motion begins through the confession of God's promises for whatever situation, circumstance, or need you have. When you begin to confess this Word, a very powerful, spiritual principle goes to work in the lives of those who are hearing and reaping the benefit of it.
But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
Romans 10:8-11
V8 is talking about the gift of 'righteousness which is of faith.' The Word of Faith is found in
But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you. 23 And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. Matthew 11:22-23
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17
So, in verse 8, the word 'it' is referring to 'righteousness which is of faith.'
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth," - this is the beginning of putting that spiritual principle to work in your life. We could also call this the beginning of a sanctifying process which has eternal results. The principle: Everything which happens or comes to pass in the natural must occur in the spiritual first of all.
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
John 6:63
"It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit and they are life." Right after this statement Peter said,
"Thou hast the words of eternal life." God's Word is spirit because God is a Spirit John. 4:24.
He can only work through our spirit to bring to pass our requests. It is up to us to work it through our soul and body where God is most often limited. This is because God made us free moral agents creatures of choice. But He wants to see the results come through just as we do.
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
A believer does believe Jesus is Lord and that God raised him from the dead, otherwise he is not saved. The word, saved in the Greek is: sozo. It means: wholeness, healing, temporal deliverance, and 'eternal deliverance granted immediately to those who accept His conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus,'
"The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have commited sins, they shall be forgiven him." Vines, Expository Dictionary
And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
James 5:15
The reason why their sins are forgiven is because, the prayer of faith involves healing, wholeness and deliverance. The word save in both scriptures is the same in Greek, sozo.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:10
Believing in Jesus Christ makes one automatically righteous. It is a gift from God
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21
He knew that no man could be righteous in His sight because of the Adamic nature which has been passed down through the ages to man since Adam fell. So God gave His Son, Jesus to give us our robes of righteousness in order that He might fellowship again with His creation. If Jesus dwells in your heart through salvation, then you are a righteous person. The word, salvation is the corresponding noun of the verb, save; therefore, confession is made unto wholeness, healing, and deliverance through our obedience to the Word, confessing the word which
"is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is the word of faith!" Romans 10:8
This is believing that those things which you say shall come to pass, especially when your desire or need is quoted in scripture. Faith will come by hearing those scriptures. This is the only way it will get into your heart and spirit to begin its mighty work in your life. Remember, the spiritual principle? Here is another example of how it works:
"The word of God is quick, (life-giving) and powerful (inherent divine energy), and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of the soul and the spirit ... "
Hebrews. 4:12
Read this scripture twice, slowly. Let us say one is confessing scriptures which relate to a particular physical need, a dire need. The more this scripture is spoken aloud, the sooner that Word is going to divide the senses, the emotions, reason, logic, intellect, and will out of the way in the soul realm where all the doubt and unbelief originates. The one who is hearing that scripture will have his soul and spirit parted, divided, because the power and light in that written Word will drive the darkness, the doubt, out of the soul,
The entrance of Your words gives light;
It gives understanding to the simple. Psalms 119:130
It will open the way for this Word to drop into the spirit of that person where God can work a wonder and bring the manifestation into the natural, the next part of
" ... and of the joints and the marrows, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Hebrews 4:12:
I said God is a Spirit; therefore, He can move only through His word which is spirit, to feed the spirit of man. Clarifying understanding about the spirit of man, who is made up of a body, soul, and spirit,

And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding.

The spoken Word of God, those verses which are written down in His Holy Scriptures will bring life and health to all your flesh as this Word brings deliverance, wholeness, healing, and salvation,
conviction, cleansing, sanctification, hope, nourishment, etc. That spiritual principle works in all areas of life. The more this
word is spoken, the sooner deliverance will be wrought. There are many who seek out ministries where healings are in evidence,
yet they do not receive for themselves. Miracles are instantaneous.
to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, 1 Corinthians 12:9
And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.

Gifts of healings take time but seem like a miracle to the person who receives as the answers are so incredible. Gifts of healings will build up the believer's faith to receive from God. If we are told by a doctor to take medicine then we should also take God's medicine in the same amount and even more, depending on what we need from the Lord.
Shield of Faith:
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

write out the scripture verses and carry them along each day because the enemy strikes when one least expects it. 7 times a day to start with persevering for two weeks in this pattern. Chopping away at the soul realm with that two-edged sword! then shared the love of Jesus with others about your testimony 'fight the good fight of faith'
You can ask a minister to anoint with oil and pray the prayer of faith.
My son, give attention to my words;

God will show His glory! The light and almighty power in the Word of God after two weeks of quoting the Word, God's medicine.
The Lord gave the word; Great was the company of those who proclaimed it:
Psalms 68:11
Souls into the Kingdom, and many drawn into submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ through the Word's life-giving power, resurrection power, healing power, and drawing power. Many will understand what else happens in the lives of these who took hold of the meaning of this spiritual principle.
My Word will go from nation to nation and shore to shore because My people need to know about the power invested in My Word. They need to know what this power will do for them and all whom they love. But especially they need to know this is the key to an open door into that abundant life I came to give unto them. In their following through they are laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold of eternal life."
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children. Hosea 4:6
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10
We have just read how this principle can work in drawing souls into the Kingdom of God because of the power in the spoken and written Word dividing out the darkness in the soul of the unbeliever. Why? He has a spiritual hunger that has not been satisfied and will never be satisfied until the Living Word, the Logos-Jesus Christ finds a place in his heart. This spiritual hunger draws unbelievers into salvation through the preaching of the Cross, the speaking of the Word or words anointed by the Holy Spirit to divide their souls and spirits
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Romans 1:16
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
1 Corinthians 1:18
The preaching feeds the craving in man's spirit, his
God-consciousness. Man cannot resist this working of the Holy Spirit as he has always been seeking and searching for the fulfillment of something he has never been able to put his finger on. When he is in this state, he is spiritually starved. God created man with a spirit, soul, and body. Man feeds his body with food, his soul with things which favour the senses, the emotions and the intellect; but he can only feed his spirit with the Word of God or never satisfy those yearnings. This is the reason why he is always searching and trying out dope, alcohol, meditation, yoga, T.M., Eastern religions, philosophy, etc., seeking to find fulfillment, but none of these will take the place of God and His Word. Satan is at work in all these other ways, but Jesus said,
"I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me."
John. 14:6
There is no fulfillment, satisfaction, nor peace within Satan's kingdom of darkness because he is the destroyer,
And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” Revelation 12:7-12
If God created Satan (Lucifer), then God, as The Creator is far greater than Satan!
Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 12 “Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD:
“You were the seal of perfection,
Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 You were in Eden, the garden of God;
Every precious stone was your covering:
The sardius, topaz, and diamond,
Beryl, onyx, and jasper,
Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold.
The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes
Was prepared for you on the day you were created.
14 “You were the anointed cherub who covers;
I established you;
You were on the holy mountain of God;
You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.
15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,
Till iniquity was found in you.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
Satan has angelic powers which can control the life of man when he is not submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Man needs a greater power than that of Satan to overcome this master of deceit and influence. Until man is drawn into the saving power of Christ Jesus, he will be controlled by Satan, the god of this world, and the prince of the power of the air
whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.
2 Corinthians 4:4
in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, Ephesians 2:2
The word, air in Greek is aer and it means: the atmospheric heavens which surround the earth. This does not include the celestial heavens or the heaven of heavens. Some saints do not bind and loose properly because they do not understand the word, heaven in
Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Matthew 18:18
Just relate this word to the heavens where the devil roams with all his cohorts and organization, that which is only the air around us.
And the LORD said to Satan, “From where do you come?”
So Satan answered the LORD and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”
Job 1:7
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7
Man can only resist the devil and his angelic powers through the greater One, Jesus Christ dwelling in his heart, his spirit. This is the reason why dope addicts and alcoholics cannot beat their habit because they do not have Jesus in their heart and do not have the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit to resist the angelic powers of Satan. The Word preaching in the verses:
"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness: but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."
1 Corinthians. 1:18
" ... it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."
1 Corinthians. 1:21
actually came from the Greek, logos, but here it is homo-logia and means: man speaking the Word. Logos is one Greek word for the Word of God. Rhema is another Greek word for the Word. The logos word is the incarnate Word that dwells both in the Word and man's spirit after he is saved. He is the written Word, the Living Word, Jesus Christ
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— 1 John 1:1
The rhema word is that word which is spoken in utterance, the Word that created all things (Gen. 1-2).
When you hear the preaching of the Word, you hear the Rhema Word, it drops into your spirit and then things begin to happen because the Word brings forth life and light
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
John 1:4
We release our faith when we confess it because we are putting God into that expression. Very often I speak about
So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Mark 11:22-23
because in this verse there is one word which confirms that which I am sharing with you now. A lot of people have come against the confession of the Word, the "Confession brings Possession" teaching only because they have not received the full counsel of God. The Lord is talking about the 'God kind of faith' after which He explains what it is in verse 23. One word, saith will open up your understanding to this teaching. It is the word, lego in the Greek. It means: to say on, to continue to say, to lay forth words spoken systematically or successively. So, if you continue to say over and over scriptures spoken in a systematic way, you are doing what the Lord commands you to do in His promise, You are 'doing the Word' and becoming a hearer of the Word also. God knew some things would happen if you obeyed His Son's command, to say it, pray it, meditate in it, and do it. He knew His Word would be a life-giving word to those who appropriated it; for it would divide asunder the soul and spirit and begin a work in the body, soul, and spirit of that man and bring about the evidence of its power in manifestations in the natural. Think about
"It is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
Hebrew 4:12
God's Word, those spoken verses will do things to your mind also. You have to have your mind washed, renewed, and changed over to think and move in the spiritual realm
How can a young man cleanse his way?
By taking heed according to Your word. Psalms 119:9
Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.
John 17:17
that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, Ephesians 5:26
and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
Ephesians 4:23
God's Word prevails in the believer, and faith makes that word prevail over our thinking processes; not only our thinking processes but over every force of nature and every devious plan of Satan. Because Jesus had to use the Word to stop Satan in the wilderness, He set an example for His people. If He had to use it as the "Son of Man", not the second person of the Trinity, then we should also. Before Jesus went up into the Mt. of Temptation, He was baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit because John saw the Spirit come down upon Him as a dove.
It came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10 And immediately, coming up from the water, He saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending upon Him like a dove.
Mark 1:9-10
And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. 33 I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ John 1:32-33
Inasmuch as many have taken in hand to set in order a narrative of those things which have been fulfilled among us, 2 just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word delivered them to us, 3 it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write to you an orderly account, most excellent Theophilus, 4 that you may know the certainty of those things in which you were instructed.
John’s Birth Announced to Zacharias
5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. 6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. 7 But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.
8 So it was, that while he was serving as priest before God in the order of his division, 9 according to the custom of the priesthood, his lot fell to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord. 10 And the whole multitude of the people was praying outside at the hour of incense. 11 Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense. 12 And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
13 But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. Luke 1:1-13
Read how Jesus was anointed with, number one, the Holy Ghost, and number two, with power; two anointings for the ministry He was going to embark on and two to resist and overcome temptation and its author, the devil.
"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost, and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him."
Acts 10:38
He moved under the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit just as we should after we receive the overflowing experience of the Spirit following salvation. This is the reason why we can
"overcome him (the destroyer, the devil) by the blood of the Lamb,
and by the word of our testimony ... "
Revelation. 12:11.
The word testimony in Greek, is Homologeo. This is the Word made public by speaking forth, witnessing, our profession, or that which we confess. Most of time when I am teaching or preaching, the Word of God comes forth from my mouth through an anointing of the Holy Spirit. It is an anointing which is more powerful than that which we receive when endued with power from above,
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8
We can move and live with this anointing in all daily circumstances, but could not live in this natural body very long if we moved and lived in the power and anointing of the ministry gift for any long period of time. (Ministry: the act of serving as an agent of some power or authority, Webster's New World Dictionary),
Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
2 Timothy 2:19-21
that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:16
Moving under this anointing in the natural body for two hours is like working an eight hour shift at hard labor. The ministry anointing moves through an instrument or vessel whom God has set in the body for the perfecting of the saints,
And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way. 1 Corinthians 12:28-31
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Ephesians 4:11-16
The supernatural power of God takes its toll of our natural bodies as it passes through it. Kenneth Hagin has likened it unto holding onto an electric wire. If you held on too long your heart would stop, and that could be just seconds! It is the same but more intense with the supernatural power of God. We do not contain it in ourselves for ourselves; it only passes through us as the Holy Spirit ministers. This is Jesus Christ Himself working through His ministry gift to His body, the Church. That is why some have mentioned the fact that He can be seen with the eye upon, in, or through some of these ministers. Jesus is all-powerful and almighty in supernatural strength. Maybe that will give you an idea of how much power there is in the anointing which is working in the ministry gifts. Only those who have experienced this power can understand the magnitude of it. What I have related to you thus far is how to receive answers to prayer. If we speak what God's Word says instead of our own words, we put our ministering spirits and angels to work in bringing those answers about, especially when we personalize those verses for ourselves or adapt them to the person for whom we are praying. An example: the verses I have laid out in Scripture Keys for petitioning our Lord for someone's salvation.
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11
His angels "hearken unto the voice of his word" -Psalms 103:20,
those scriptures which we confess from our mouths, our voice. God, the Father will not turn His back on His Word because, Jesus, His Son is that Living Word, personified.
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:44
Your speaking the Word or pastor preaching the Word will open hearts to the Spirit of God who then draws them into a relationship with Jesus. That drawing power confirms the fact that Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith
looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:2
" ... and I will raise him up at the last day," John 6:44
resurrection day. Hallelujah! Here is evidence right here of the omnipotence in the act of praying the Word, being drawn by the Spirit of God, and being resurrected by the power of God all because you believed God's Word and obeyed the commandment of the Lord Jesus
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Mark 11:23
When you carry through and identify with the Word, or use them for someone else's benefit, you are 'continuing to say - scriptures spoken systematically.' Even though it may not mean a thing to you, the light and power in that Word is going into your spirit, feeding it, and hiding the Word in your heart. Maybe later when you find yourself in a position where you need a scripture fast because 'the enemy is coming in'
So shall they fear
The name of the LORD from the west,
And His glory from the rising of the sun;
When the enemy comes in like a flood,
The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:19
the Spirit of the Lord will have that scripture hidden in your heart
Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.
Psalms 119:11
to raise up a standard, a protective covering,
The blood of Jesus acts as a legal and spiritual barrier. or new Standard
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Revelation 12:11
believers overcome the accuser "by the blood of the Lamb." The blood stands as the permanent proof that the believer's debt has already been paid, effectively halting the enemy’s spiritual assault.
the Sword of the Spirit against the enemy and stop all his intrusions and attacks upon you.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; Ephesians 6:17
Confessing scriptures over and over will cause you to memorize it in your mind as well as hide it in your heart. Most of all, it will bring the power of God into every situation and circumstance and manifest results just as it did in this accident. Praise the Lord for His keeping power!
who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
2 Corinthians 3:6
Without the quickening of the Spirit, the Word is without life-giving power
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
John 6:63
It is through believing the Word along with the power in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, which gives impetus to the written Word of God to bring forth life and power. The Baptism puts a catalyst behind the Word.
Catalyst: speeding up process, a thing or person (Holy Spirit) acting as stimulus to hasten results. Speaking the Word, in the name of Jesus, with the enduement of the Holy Ghost is putting a triple portion of God's omnipotence to work in that situation or circumstance. The Name, the Word, and the Power - all these power tools stop the devil cold! They cause him and his cohorts to run from this annihilating light which is filled with such great power that it dispels all the powers of darkness. If you are binding and loosing and claiming the blood of Jesus also, that puts five portions of God's power to work for you. All this power goes to work in the spirit realm where you as a joint heir with Christ are sitting in heavenly places. Satan and all his demons are under your feet
And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
Ephesians 1:22-23
and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

Just one of these divine power tools has enough power inherent in it to overcome the powers of darkness. Now, maybe you can understand why Jesus said, "GO YE ... " because He knew He had left us with all we would need to fight these satanic powers before He ascended to heaven. It is the devil who brings upon us all sickness, business problems, family feuds, poverty, etc .; that is, whatever it is that is burdening you down with defeat. It is Satan and all his hosts of hell who bring these things about just to harass, torment, afflict, and aggravate the believer. He has known the believer has a greater power than his ever since he fell from his place in heaven where he was known as the 'anointed cherub',
You were the anointed cherub who covers;
I established you;
You were on the holy mountain of God;
You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.
15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,
Till iniquity was found in you. Ezekiel 28:14-15
He lost his place and power when Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the dead negating the place which Adam gave to him in the Garden of Eden
concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, 4 and declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. Romans 1:3-4
He does not have the power he had before the sacrifice of the Lamb of God because Jesus stripped him, defeated him
Therefore He says:
“When He ascended on high,He led captivity captive,
And gave gifts to men.”
9 (Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.) Ephesians 4:8-10
For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, 19 by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison, 1 Peter 3:18-19
I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. Revelation 1:18
All the devil has now is influence, the power of suggestion which he tries to whisper into our ears because
"There shall no strange god be in thee ... " Psalms 81:9
As I said before, he does have an angelic power which can control a person who is not 'born-again.' If we do not have the greater power dwelling within us and do not put on the whole armour of God each day
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8
my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— Ephesians 6:10-18then the devil can whip us around with his powers of suggestion, through influencing our soulish sense nature as well as use those whom he can control to torment and distress us. When these things happen, it usually reminds us that we are not covered or protected that day from this harassment of 'the evil one.' The abundant life in Christ Jesus is living in a peaceful existence without the devil's intrusions.
"It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you," Jesus said, "they are spirit and they are life." Vine's Expository Dictionary:
"Life as God has it, that which the Father has in Himself, and which He gave to the Incarnate Son to have in Himself, John. 5:26,
and which the Son manifested in the world,
the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us—,

and of this life men become partakers through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ,

who becomes its Author (and Finisher) to all such as trust in Him,

and who is therefore said to be 'the Life' of the believer,
Col. 3:4 for the life He gives He maintains (in us),
Jn. 6:35
and 63."
This Zoe life also pertains to eternal life
(Jn. 6:68-69)
and everything that is going on in our daily experiences with Jesus who is in control
(Phi. 1:6).
Therefore, the words Jesus speaks to you are involved with 7,000 promises which belong to those who believe His words
(2 Co. 1:20,
2 Tim. 3:16-17,
2 Pt. 1:20-21).
These promises lead us daily into a deeper Zoe life in Christ. Why? Many are seeking the reality of His presence and His loving care since they started to claim, stand on, confess, and incorporate these promises in their prayers. Who do you think gave you that hunger and thirst for the knowledge of God and His ways? Of course, our Lord, by His Spirit because He knew your life would become fuller, happier, and more peaceful when you knew how to walk in His Word. It takes time in the Word to grow in this knowledge
(2 Pet. 1:2-3).
The sooner you grasp hold of the full knowledge and revelation
(Eph. 1:17),
the sooner you will move into Kingdom Living, the Zoe life, with full Kingdom privileges
(Mt. 6:33). So many let the trials and tests discourage them without knowing they can come through stronger and more knowledgeable of God's ways if they can just 'fight the good fight of faith' and overcome the devil. Since the Lord has begun a good work in you, He is going to finish it! Giving up just puts you into a continual crisis stage. There are only two ways to go once you have given your life to Jesus; that is: obedience or affliction. The choice is yours. So, get in there and stand against those attacks of the devil with your 'shield of faith' and 'sword of the spirit' which is the Word of God. Or, be obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit who is trying to get rid of some of your garbage in the flesh nature so He can replace it with His nature. You must ask to receive!
"Ye have not because ye ask not" (James. 4:2-3).
If you are asking in the Word, then there should be some kind of an answer; otherwise you are limiting or hindering God. Seek the Lord's face. Fast and Pray. Use the spoken Word to reveal the hindrance, then repent, 'bind and loose' and come back into blessing ground where there are answers to prayer. God "delights in giving you the desires of your heart," (not the flesh).

Acting on the Word builds a capacity to move in faith. It is like a boxer who must train and train before he can get into the ring for that big fight; and then train some more if he wants to be a champion. Using the promises everyday will build up your faith muscles. No matter what the devil throws at you, you can overcome.
In Proverbs 4:20-27
we see we have four channels to receive the Word into our spirits as we confess it.
1. Ears - Prov. 20:12
2. Eyes - Eph. 1:18
3. Mind - Eph. 4:23, Col. 1:9
4. Heart - Prov. 4:23
One must attend to His Word to receive anything from God. Attend to it, meditate in it, pray it, speak it, act on it, live in it and above all believe it! Then you will always grow in it. We will grow until Jesus comes for His church to catch it away into His heavenly presence. When anyone becomes unteachable, then the Holy Spirit will put that one off on a shelf where he will miss out on becoming mature in the Spirit. So stay open, listen, sift, and retain that which is good!
Hebrew translation. God's Word is truly medicine for all our flesh, that is the body, the soul, and the spirit! God's Word is the light and the life of men
(John. 1:4).
When God created light,
(Gen. 1:2, 4),
it divided out the darkness because there was "darkness upon the face of the deep." "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness." The same thing happens with the Word because it is a powerful light, especially when it is confessed out of the believer's mouth. It divides the darkness out of ourselves and any given situation which is hindering the reception from the Lord.
"The entrance of thy words giveth light: it giveth understanding unto the simple." Ps. 119:130
The entrance of God's Word, all the promises of God, will divide out the darkness in you and your mind; that is, the soul realm and the body realm where that sickness or disease which you have been fighting and seemingly has gone on forever has been binding your whole being. Jesus said,
"I am the light of the world, and he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life (the Zoe life)."
John 8:12
The Word is the unseen Christ in your life. Just think about that? Every single time you confess God's promises and believe them, Jesus is moving in your life, manifesting Himself to you and all those around you. It could be immediately or it could take some time to work that promise into your spirit, but if your spiritual eyes and ears are open, you will take note of His presence blessing you every time He has a chance to reveal it. Why do I say chance? Circumstances, wavering faith, timing, lack of knowledge or lack of power could block your reception. As we mature, we learn to move out of God's way.
"Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips." Psalm. 21:2
"No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly."
Ps. 84:11b
Those who are walking uprightly are the righteous. And who is righteous? You who believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that God raised him from the dead
(Rm. 10:9).
Righteousness comes through grace
. "Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Eph. 2:8-9)
Grace is a gift and so is righteousness, therefore it cannot be earned through works.
"Freely ye have received, freely give" (Matthew. 10:8b).
Every promise which relates to those who are righteous, in right-standing with God, or upright belongs to the Believer! It is God's will for you to be healed,
(3 Jn. 2,
Isa. 53:4-5,
1 Pt. 2:24,
Mt. 8:17).
If you are not healed and have stood on the scriptures,
(Prov. 4:20-22,
Eph. 1:13-14);
you have sought the elders of the church to lay hands on you anointing you with oil; prayed in agreement
(James. 5:14-15,
Mt. 18:19);
and still you have not been healed, then you do need to examine yourself as to whether you are the one who is blocking this healing light of God's Word. Some of the main reasons we hinder our deliverance and healing is a root of bitterness, resentment, hate, grudges and unforgiveness. Many do not realize they have these things in their hearts because the root effect caused them to retain a deep hurt which could be buried deep within the subconscious mind. See Hebrews 12:12-15.
Every time another hurt or offense is perpetrated upon us, it drives this root of bitterness deeper into our souls causing many kinds of illnesses in our bodies. Forgiveness. It should release you into a Word of Knowledge to bring insight into that incident which brought about the root cause of blocking your prayers, if this is the reason. But, there are many other areas which interfere with one's reception, such as: lack of obedience, hate, doubt, unrepented sin, care of the body (the temple of God), touching God's anointed servants, fears, etc. Fear will cancel the effect of any prayer. It is the opposite of faith. Without faith we cannot receive from God. Another hindrance is neglecting to pay tithes to the Lord. With all the promises put forth in our Bible, there is no reason why the believer cannot live in the abundant life right now. God says,
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." Hosea 4:6
This verse is speaking of your progeny and the effects your lack of knowledge will have on your descendants. All you need to do is read the Bible and get into a good Bible study where understanding and application can come forth in your daily life. This takes a commitment. Don't neglect so full and free a salvation! It is up to you and you alone.
