III. Anointing
III. Anointing
Praying:
1. For our' work to be of good quality—the best.
2. To have strength to withstand fiery tests.
3. To have the sevenfold Spirit of the Lord; for
the Spirit of the Lord, and the spirits of wisdom, understanding, counsel, strength,
knowledge and reverent awe of the Lord to rest upon us.
4. To be strengthened with power in the inner man.
5. To be sensitive to God's voice—spiritual ears
and hearts.
6. To speak the Word with boldness wherever we go.
7. The gifts of the Spirit to flow through us:
words of wisdom and knowledge, faith, healing, working of miracles, prophecy, distinguishing
of spirits, tongues and interpretation of tongues.
8. To be full of mercy and compassion, walking in forgiveness;
enabled to counsel others with God's mercy and grace.
9. To speak and preach with such an anointing from
the Spirit of God that all unsaved who hear will come to a saving knowledge of
Jesus Christ as Lord.
