Ministering to The Father chapter 1
We are called priests unto The Father
ministry to God must come before ministry to others
we as His children can not fail to minister to Him
through praise and worship
and communion with Him in
prayer and meditation
This priestly duty is laid on us
because of The Blood of The Lamb.
When we are covered by His Blood
we may enter in to
The Holy of Holies
with confidence into His presence.
1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen generation,
a royal priesthood, a holy nation,
His own special people,
that you may proclaim
the praises of Him who called you
out of darkness into His marvelous light;
1 Peter 2:5
you also, as living stones,
are being built up a spiritual house,
a holy priesthood,
to offer up spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God
through Jesus Christ
Ephesians 1:4,5
just as He chose us in Him
before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and without blame
before Him in love,
having predestined us to adoption
as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself,
according to the good pleasure of His will,
Proverbs 15:8b
But the prayer of the upright is His delight.
2 Corinthians 5:21
For He made Him who knew no sin
to be sin for us,
that we might become
the righteousness of God in Him.
Hebrews 4:16
Let us therefore come boldly
to the throne of grace,
that we may obtain mercy
and find grace to help in time of need.
Prayer is a unique channel of dialogue
between us and the Lord
spending time with Him because we love Him
Our conversation will start to deepen as we
commune on a heart to heart with our Father.
The Lord speaks through the Holy Spirit
in the temple of God
1 Peter 2:4,5
Coming to Him as to a living stone,
rejected indeed by men,
but chosen by God and precious,
you also, as living stones,
are being built up a spiritual house,
a holy priesthood,
to offer up spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 6:19.20
Or do you not know that your body is
the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you,
whom you have from God,
and you are not your own?
For you were bought at a price;
therefore glorify God
in your body and in your spirit,
which are God's.
Prayer causes our spiritual eyes to be opened
so we can see into the spiritual realm
keeness in the Spirit realm comes
as we discipline ourselves in
prayer, praise, fasting and
renewing our mind
through the word of God
2 Kings 6:16,17
So he answered,
“Do not fear, for those who are with us
are more than those who are with them.”
And Elisha prayed, and said,
“Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.”
Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man,
and he saw.
And behold,
the mountain was full of
horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
Luke 8:45,46
And Jesus said,
“Who touched Me?”
When all denied it,
Peter and those with him said,
“Master, the multitudes throng and press You,
and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”
But Jesus said,
“Somebody touched Me,
for I perceived power going out from Me.”
Our great Intercessor Jesus
shows us many examples of prayer in His walk
Prayer is unselfish in works
and will not be seen by other as an appreciation.
they only experience the results.
we are not seeking to be seen by others
but we are to stand in His presence and pleasure
through His Glory
Romans 8:34b
It is Christ who died,
and furthermore is also risen,
who is even at the right hand of God,
who also makes intercession for us.
Mark 1:35
Now in the morning,
having risen a long while before daylight,
He went out and departed to a solitary place;
and there He prayed.
Hebrews 7:25
Therefore He is also able
to save to the uttermost
those who come to God through Him,
since He always lives
to make intercession for them.
Our Prayer must be a Love responce
to others burdens
There is a privilege to press into,
a standing point of intercession
that comes on looking out of ourself
and seeking Gods will in others lives.
Its a point of feeling the Fathers heart
flooding our hearts, experiencing
His heart hurting for His children.
Phillipians 1:3,4,7
I thank my God
upon every remembrance of you,
always in every prayer of mine
making request for you all with joy,
just as it is right for me to think this of you all,
because I have you in my heart,
inasmuch as both in my chains
and in the defense and confirmation of
the gospel,
you all are partakers with me of grace.
Ephesians 1:15,16
Therefore I also,
after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus
and your love for all the saints,
do not cease to give thanks for you,
making mention of you in my prayers:
Philippians 2:3,4
Let nothing be done
through selfish ambition or conceit,
but in lowliness of mind
let each esteem others better than himself.
Let each of you look out
not only for his own interests,
but also for the interests of others.
Hebrews 12:22-24
But you have come to Mount Zion
and to the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem,
to an innumerable company of angels,
to the general assembly
and church of the firstborn
who are registered in heaven,
to God the Judge of all,
to the spirits of just men made perfect,
to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant,
and to the blood of sprinkling
that speaks better things than that of Abel.
Prayer is God's own Word
alive in our mouths
the Father wants us to come to Him with faith
this will allow the Holy Spirit to quicken
His words and anoint them as we speak.
As we enter His presence with faith
believing He will confirm His word
and assure us He is with us.
Hebrews 11:6 PT
And without faith living within us
it would be impossible to please God.
For we come to God in faith
knowing that he is real
and that he rewards the faith
of those who give all their passion
and strength into seeking him.
Isaiah 55:11
so My word that comes from My mouth
will not return to Me empty,
but it will accomplish what I please
and will prosper in what I send it to do.”
Bearing fruit for the kingdom
and pleasing God through Prayer
Gods desire is to give you fruit
when we speak to Him
Colossians 1:9-11 PT
Since we first heard about you,
we’ve kept you always in our prayers
that you would receive
the perfect knowledge of God’s pleasure
over your lives,
making you reservoirs of
every kind of wisdom
and spiritual understanding.
We pray that you would walk
in the ways of true righteousness,
pleasing God in every good thing you do.
Then you’ll become fruit-bearing branches,
yielding to his life,
and maturing in the rich experience
of knowing God in his fullness!
And we pray that you would be
energized with all his explosive power
from the realm of his magnificent glory,
filling you with great hope.
John 15:7-8
If you remain in Me
and My words remain in you,
ask whatever you want
and it will be done for you.
My Father is glorified by this:
that you produce much fruit
and prove to be My disciples.
Prayer opens a door sovereignly
For God to act on our behalf
in the earth
Matthew 6:10
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven
Matthew 18:18-20
I assure you:
Whatever you bind on earth
is already bound in heaven,
and whatever you loose on earth
is already loosed in heaven.
Again, I assure you:
If two of you on earth agree about any matter
that you pray for,
it will be done for you
by My Father in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered together
in My name,
I am there among them.”
There are 3 distinct realms in which we
as intercessors must understand.
The first is Gods realm, His Kingdom
The second is a spiritual realm
and the third is this physical realm
Gods activities in the physical realm
or earth are mainly in responce to the
prayers of His children
heaven egerly awaits for us to prayer
for things to happen.
our thoughts need to be aligned
with the purpose and power of God
He is able to do things through us
as we stand in the
spiritual doorway of prayer
Our Father seeks to hear His word spoken
as we plead His perfect will
to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Isaiah 43:26
Put Me in remembrance;
Let us contend together;
State your case,
that you may be acquitted.
Jeremiah 1:12
Then the Lord said to me,
“You have seen well,
for I am ready to perform My word.”
It is exciting to realize that our prayers
effect those we prayer for and
also the nation and land we live in
even to the point of molding
international and nation events.
Genesis 18:17-19
And the Lord said,
“Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing,
since Abraham shall surely become
a great and mighty nation,
and all the nations of the earth
shall be blessed in him?
For I have known him,
in order that he may command
his children and his household after him,
that they keep the way of the Lord,
to do righteousness and justice,
that the Lord may bring to Abraham
what He has spoken to him.”
1 Samual 7:8-9
So the children of Israel said to Samuel,
“Do not cease to cry out
to the Lord our God for us,
that He may save us
from the hand of the Philistines.”
And Samuel took a suckling lamb
and offered it as
a whole burnt offering to the Lord.
Then Samuel cried out to the Lord for Israel,
and the Lord answered him.
2 Kings 20:4-5
And it happened,
before Isaiah had
gone out into the middle court,
that the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
“Return and tell Hezekiah
the leader of My people,
‘Thus says the Lord,
the God of David your father:
“I have heard your prayer,
I have seen your tears;
surely I will heal you.
On the third day you shall go up
to the house of the Lord.
Daniel 9:3
Then I set my face toward the Lord God
to make request by prayer and supplications,
with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.
As we press into prayer
revelations and the mind of God
is revealed to us
The Holy Spirit begins with a heart motion
this will be an unction spiritually imparted
to us to guide or enlighten us
to His desire and in which direction
we should pray
in most cases this can pinpoint
a problem area in someones life or a situation.
as we press in The Father
allows us to see as He sees.
Care must be taken here.
we must carefully guard the
secrets that He imparts to us
as we prayer
only share when and what
the Lord directs you to do
always ask Him what to do
or how to do it.
seek His clear guidence to the
follow-up that He has revealed.
Matthew 11:25
At that time Jesus answered and said,
“I thank You, Father,
Lord of heaven and earth,
that You have hidden these things
from the wise and prudent
and have revealed them to babes.
Luke 10:22
All things have been delivered to Me
by My Father,
and no one knows who the Son is
except the Father,
and who the Father is except the Son,
and the one to whom
the Son wills to reveal Him.”
Philippians 3:15
Therefore let us,
as many as are mature,
have this mind;
and if in anything you think otherwise,
God will reveal even this to you.
As miracles begin to manifest
by prayer
the Kingdom of God
will become very real
Gods manifest power will
confirm our walk through
our obedient prayer to Him
Luke 5:15,16
However, the report went around
concerning Him all the more;
and great multitudes came together to hear,
and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.
So He Himself often withdrew
into the wilderness and prayed.
Mark 16:17-20
And these signs will follow those who believe:
In My name they will cast out demons;
they will speak with new tongues;
they will take up serpents;
and if they drink anything deadly,
it will by no means hurt them;
they will lay hands on the sick,
and they will recover.”
So then, after the Lord had spoken to them,
He was received up into heaven,
and sat down at the right hand of God.
And they went out and preached everywhere,
the Lord working with them
and confirming the word
through the accompanying signs.
Amen.
Spiritual Warfare
destroying stronghold
crushing the enemy in victory
pressing in and Winning
Jesus had to battle satan through prayer
as we do for His ministry and in other situations
His wilderness tempation pinpoints
satans battle plan
Jesus experienced spiritual warfare
and defeated His foe with
Gods Word.
we must understand how to overcome and win
before we can funtion fully
in what God has called us to do.
success is winning in prayer.
Joshua 1:3
Every place that the sole of your foot
will tread upon
I have given you,
as I said to Moses.
v11.
Pass through the camp
and command the people, saying,
‘Prepare provisions for yourselves,
for within three days
you will cross over this Jordan,
to go in to possess the land
which the Lord your God
is giving you to possess.
v15.
until the Lord has given your brethren rest,
as He gave you,
and they also have taken possession
of the land which the Lord
your God is giving them.
Then you shall return to the land
of your possession and enjoy it,
which Moses the Lord's servant
gave you on this side of the Jordan
toward the sunrise.”
Matthew 4:11
Then the devil left Him,
and behold,
angels came
and ministered to Him.
Mark 3:27
No one can enter a strong man's house
and plunder his goods,
unless he first binds the strong man.
And then he will plunder his house.
Daniel 10:12-13
Then he said to me,
“Do not fear, Daniel,
for from the first day
that you set your heart to understand,
and to humble yourself before your God,
your words were heard;
and I have come because of your words.
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia
withstood me twenty-one days;
and behold, Michael,
one of the chief princes,
came to help me,
for I had been left alone there
with the kings of Persia
Most important
prayer is an invitation
for us to rest in Him
God invites us to rest in him
everything must be submitted
to The Father in order to
enter into this rest
The word here is 'cast'
cast all our care on Him
Isaiah 61:1-3
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison
to those who are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn
To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise
for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called
trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord,
that He may be glorified.”
1 Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him,
for He cares for you.
Be sober, be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil
walks about like a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may devour.
Resist him, steadfast in the faith,
knowing that the same sufferings
are experienced by your
brotherhood in the world.
Psalm 55:22
Cast your burden on the Lord,
And He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit
the righteous to be moved.
Philippians 4:6,7
Be anxious for nothing,
but in everything by prayer
and supplication,
with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God,
which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts
and minds through Christ Jesus.
When we come to the place
where we can tarry
with the Lord one hour
something supernatural
happens.
we begin to understand the character
and purpose of God in
experiencing the anointing, glory
and power of God as never before
to achieve this one hour time
is a proccess.
so to start we need to make a commitment
our target is one hours but
we will start with 15mins
and each day add 5mins
as we grow deeper into this commitment
our goal is to receive the answer
literally to see the fullfillment
established here on earth
as it is in heaven.
we need to sense assurance
from the Holy Spirit
that it is accomplished
in the spiritual realm.
press in and exhaust every effort
breakthrough comes with a peace
the by faith we accept it
and in Gods timing
trusting Him for He is never late
dont underestimate the any early
chances if they feel like
they have been missed
He has a perfect timing
in every situation
After the break through
of our daily stratagey
we can move into Praise
and thanksgiving
for the victory we have
overcome.
sometimes the victory is long
and exhaustive
Luke 18:1-8
Then He spoke a parable to them,
that men always ought to pray
and not lose heart,
saying:
“There was in a certain city a judge
who did not fear God nor regard man.
Now there was a widow in that city;
and she came to him, saying,
‘Get justice for me
from my adversary.’
And he would not for a while;
but afterward he said within himself,
‘Though I do not fear God
nor regard man,
yet because this widow troubles me
I will avenge her,
lest by her continual coming she weary me.
Then the Lord said,
“Hear what the unjust judge said.
And shall God not avenge
His own elect
who cry out day and night to Him,
though He bears long with them?
I tell you that
He will avenge them speedily.
Nevertheless,
when the Son of Man comes,
will He really find faith on the earth?”
v5. is the key here
the exact meaning in this verse is
to beat the breast in grief
to lament or mourn.
to give trouble to.
The idea here is to be
persistanly and tenaciously
in showing our heart desire
to God.
When a response is delayed
continue to hold fast in prayer.
wait on Him and dont give up
the last thing we want is to give up
and see the fruit of our prayer
aborted.
Luke 11:8,10
So I say to you,
ask,
and it will be given to you;
seek,
and you will find;
knock,
and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who
asks receives,
and he who
seeks finds,
and to him who
knocks
it will be opened.
KEEP ON
persistance for victory
spoken in faith
pleasing to our Father.
we must stand on the ground
that its the Fathers will
for this to be done
Jesus said
Matthew 26:39
O My Father, if it is possible,
let this cup pass from Me;
nevertheless,
not as I will,
but as You will.
Psalm 55:16-18
As for me, I will call upon God,
And the Lord shall save me.
Evening and morning and at noon
I will pray, and cry aloud,
And He shall hear my voice
He has redeemed my soul
in peace from the battle
that was against me,
For there were many against me
Letting Nothing Stand in our way
obeying the urgency of the holy spirit
to pray immediatly
when an inner witness or urge
to pray for something or someone.
Our immediate responce
will change the direction of a persons life
or a situation
all for the purpose and glory of God
and their good.
Deeds and work are nothing compared
to what we can accomplish through
meeting with our Father in prayer.
Our asking for divine intervention
steaped in faith must not be
waisted so ask constantly
for an impartation of wisdom,
knowledge and spiritual understanding
to pull down strong holds.
2 Corinthians 10:4-6 PT
We can demolish every deceptive fantasy
that opposes God
and break through every arrogant attitude
that is raised up in defiance
of the true knowledge of God.
We capture,
like prisoners of war,
every thought and insist that it bow
in obedience to the Anointed One.
Since we are armed
with such dynamic weaponry,
we stand ready to punish
any trace of rebellion,
as soon as you choose
complete obedience.
setting time aside each day
to meet with our Lord and God
for the morning, noon, evening, night
these are the watch hour times
before breakfast
before lunch
before dinner
before sleep
Psalm 5:3
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up.
Psalm 88:13
But to You I have cried out,
O Lord,
And in the morning my prayer
comes before You.

Now in the morning,
having risen a long while before daylight,
He went out and departed
to a solitary place;
and there He prayed.

Evening and morning and at noon
I will pray, and cry aloud,
And He shall hear my voice.

And when He had sent the multitudes away,
He went up on the mountain
by Himself to pray.
Now when evening came,
He was alone there
Mark 4:46-49
And when He had sent them away,
He departed to the mountain to pray.
Now when evening came,
the boat was in the middle of the sea;
and He was alone on the land.
Then He saw them straining at rowing,
for the wind was against them.
Now about the fourth watch of the night
He came to them,
walking on the sea,
and would have passed them by.
And when they saw Him walking on the sea,
they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out
Luke 6:12
Now it came to pass in those days
that He went out to the mountain to pray,
and continued all night in prayer to God.
Acts 16:25
But at midnight
Paul and Silas were
praying and singing hymns to God,
and the prisoners were listening to them.
1 Timothy 5:5
Now she who is really a widow,
and left alone,
trusts in God
and continues in supplications
and prayers night and day.
We must keep in mind that Jesus
prayed early in the morning
and quite often all night
The place is not as important as
following the instructions of Jesus
Matthew 6:5,6
And when you pray,
you shall not be like the hypocrites.
For they love to pray standing
in the synagogues
and on the corners of the streets,
that they may be seen by men.
Assuredly, I say to you,
they have their reward.
But you, when you pray,
go into your room,
and when you have shut your door,
pray to your Father
who is in the secret place;
and your Father who sees
in secret will reward you openly.
While we are advised to set a time
aside for prayer alone
always be alert because the Holy Spirit
may quicken or give you
a complete picture at a glance
of a situation of special concern
we could be anywhere so
regardless of our situation
begin a press in.
Acts 1:13,14
And when they had entered,
they went up into the upper room
where they were staying:
Peter, James, John, and Andrew;
Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew;
James the son of Alphaeus
and Simon the Zealot;
and Judas the son of James.
These all continued with one accord
in prayer and supplication,
with the women and Mary
the mother of Jesus,
and with His brothers.
Acts 16:13
And on the Sabbath day
we went out of the city to the riverside,
where prayer was customarily made;
and we sat down
and spoke to the women
who met there.
Luke 5:16
So He Himself
often withdrew
into the wilderness
and prayed.
when we pray its important
to have less distractions
around us.
throughout the bible
there are references to
sitting, kneeling, bowing,
standing, with hands raised,
walking, and being prostrate,
completly flat on the ground.

Psalm 100 PT
Lift up a great shout of joy to the Lord!
Go ahead and do it—everyone, everywhere!
As you serve him, be glad and worship him.
Sing your way into his presence with joy!
And realize what this really means
we have the privilege of worshiping the Lord our God.
For he is our Creator and we belong to him.
We are the people of his pleasure.
You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise.
Come right into his presence with thanksgiving.
Come bring your thank offering to him
and affectionately bless his beautiful name!
For the Lord is always good and ready to receive you.
He’s so loving that it will amaze you
so kind that it will astound you!
And he is famous for his faithfulness toward all.
Everyone knows our God can be trusted,
for he keeps his promises to every generation!
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.

1 Corinthians 6:19.20
Or do you not know that your body is
the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you,
whom you have from God,
and you are not your own?
For you were bought at a price;
therefore glorify God
in your body and in your spirit,
which are God's.

Ephesians 1:15,16
Therefore I also,
after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus
and your love for all the saints,
do not cease to give thanks for you,
making mention of you in my prayers:
Philippians 2:3,4
Let nothing be done
through selfish ambition or conceit,
but in lowliness of mind
let each esteem others better than himself.
Let each of you look out
not only for his own interests,
but also for the interests of others.
Hebrews 12:22-24
But you have come to Mount Zion
and to the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem,
to an innumerable company of angels,
to the general assembly
and church of the firstborn
who are registered in heaven,
to God the Judge of all,
to the spirits of just men made perfect,
to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant,
and to the blood of sprinkling
that speaks better things than that of Abel.
Prayer is God's own Word
alive in our mouths
the Father wants us to come to Him with faith
this will allow the Holy Spirit to quicken
His words and anoint them as we speak.
As we enter His presence with faith
believing He will confirm His word
and assure us He is with us.
Hebrews 11:6 PT
And without faith living within us
it would be impossible to please God.
For we come to God in faith
knowing that he is real
and that he rewards the faith
of those who give all their passion
and strength into seeking him.
Isaiah 55:11
so My word that comes from My mouth
will not return to Me empty,
but it will accomplish what I please
and will prosper in what I send it to do.”
Bearing fruit for the kingdom
and pleasing God through Prayer
Gods desire is to give you fruit
when we speak to Him
Colossians 1:9-11 PT
Since we first heard about you,
we’ve kept you always in our prayers
that you would receive
the perfect knowledge of God’s pleasure
over your lives,
making you reservoirs of
every kind of wisdom
and spiritual understanding.
We pray that you would walk
in the ways of true righteousness,
pleasing God in every good thing you do.
Then you’ll become fruit-bearing branches,
yielding to his life,
and maturing in the rich experience
of knowing God in his fullness!
And we pray that you would be
energized with all his explosive power
from the realm of his magnificent glory,
filling you with great hope.
John 15:7-8
If you remain in Me
and My words remain in you,
ask whatever you want
and it will be done for you.
My Father is glorified by this:
that you produce much fruit
and prove to be My disciples.
Prayer opens a door sovereignly
For God to act on our behalf
in the earth
Matthew 6:10
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven
Matthew 18:18-20
I assure you:
Whatever you bind on earth
is already bound in heaven,
and whatever you loose on earth
is already loosed in heaven.
Again, I assure you:
If two of you on earth agree about any matter
that you pray for,
it will be done for you
by My Father in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered together
in My name,
I am there among them.”
There are 3 distinct realms in which we
as intercessors must understand.
The first is Gods realm, His Kingdom
The second is a spiritual realm
and the third is this physical realm
Gods activities in the physical realm
or earth are mainly in responce to the
prayers of His children
heaven egerly awaits for us to prayer
for things to happen.
our thoughts need to be aligned
with the purpose and power of God
He is able to do things through us
as we stand in the
spiritual doorway of prayer
Our Father seeks to hear His word spoken
as we plead His perfect will
to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Isaiah 43:26
Put Me in remembrance;
Let us contend together;
State your case,
that you may be acquitted.
Jeremiah 1:12
Then the Lord said to me,
“You have seen well,
for I am ready to perform My word.”
It is exciting to realize that our prayers
effect those we prayer for and
also the nation and land we live in
even to the point of molding
international and nation events.
Genesis 18:17-19
And the Lord said,
“Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing,
since Abraham shall surely become
a great and mighty nation,
and all the nations of the earth
shall be blessed in him?
For I have known him,
in order that he may command
his children and his household after him,
that they keep the way of the Lord,
to do righteousness and justice,
that the Lord may bring to Abraham
what He has spoken to him.”
1 Samual 7:8-9
So the children of Israel said to Samuel,
“Do not cease to cry out
to the Lord our God for us,
that He may save us
from the hand of the Philistines.”
And Samuel took a suckling lamb
and offered it as
a whole burnt offering to the Lord.
Then Samuel cried out to the Lord for Israel,
and the Lord answered him.
2 Kings 20:4-5
And it happened,
before Isaiah had
gone out into the middle court,
that the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
“Return and tell Hezekiah
the leader of My people,
‘Thus says the Lord,
the God of David your father:
“I have heard your prayer,
I have seen your tears;
surely I will heal you.
On the third day you shall go up
to the house of the Lord.
Daniel 9:3
Then I set my face toward the Lord God
to make request by prayer and supplications,
with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.
As we press into prayer
revelations and the mind of God
is revealed to us
The Holy Spirit begins with a heart motion
this will be an unction spiritually imparted
to us to guide or enlighten us
to His desire and in which direction
we should pray
in most cases this can pinpoint
a problem area in someones life or a situation.
as we press in The Father
allows us to see as He sees.
Care must be taken here.
we must carefully guard the
secrets that He imparts to us
as we prayer
only share when and what
the Lord directs you to do
always ask Him what to do
or how to do it.
seek His clear guidence to the
follow-up that He has revealed.
Matthew 11:25
At that time Jesus answered and said,
“I thank You, Father,
Lord of heaven and earth,
that You have hidden these things
from the wise and prudent
and have revealed them to babes.
Luke 10:22
All things have been delivered to Me
by My Father,
and no one knows who the Son is
except the Father,
and who the Father is except the Son,
and the one to whom
the Son wills to reveal Him.”
Philippians 3:15
Therefore let us,
as many as are mature,
have this mind;
and if in anything you think otherwise,
God will reveal even this to you.
As miracles begin to manifest
by prayer
the Kingdom of God
will become very real
Gods manifest power will
confirm our walk through
our obedient prayer to Him
Luke 5:15,16
However, the report went around
concerning Him all the more;
and great multitudes came together to hear,
and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.
So He Himself often withdrew
into the wilderness and prayed.
Mark 16:17-20
And these signs will follow those who believe:
In My name they will cast out demons;
they will speak with new tongues;
they will take up serpents;
and if they drink anything deadly,
it will by no means hurt them;
they will lay hands on the sick,
and they will recover.”
So then, after the Lord had spoken to them,
He was received up into heaven,
and sat down at the right hand of God.
And they went out and preached everywhere,
the Lord working with them
and confirming the word
through the accompanying signs.
Amen.
Spiritual Warfare
destroying stronghold
crushing the enemy in victory
pressing in and Winning
Jesus had to battle satan through prayer
as we do for His ministry and in other situations
His wilderness tempation pinpoints
satans battle plan
Jesus experienced spiritual warfare
and defeated His foe with
Gods Word.
we must understand how to overcome and win
before we can funtion fully
in what God has called us to do.
success is winning in prayer.
Joshua 1:3
Every place that the sole of your foot
will tread upon
I have given you,
as I said to Moses.
v11.
Pass through the camp
and command the people, saying,
‘Prepare provisions for yourselves,
for within three days
you will cross over this Jordan,
to go in to possess the land
which the Lord your God
is giving you to possess.
v15.
until the Lord has given your brethren rest,
as He gave you,
and they also have taken possession
of the land which the Lord
your God is giving them.
Then you shall return to the land
of your possession and enjoy it,
which Moses the Lord's servant
gave you on this side of the Jordan
toward the sunrise.”
Matthew 4:11
Then the devil left Him,
and behold,
angels came
and ministered to Him.
Mark 3:27
No one can enter a strong man's house
and plunder his goods,
unless he first binds the strong man.
And then he will plunder his house.
Daniel 10:12-13
Then he said to me,
“Do not fear, Daniel,
for from the first day
that you set your heart to understand,
and to humble yourself before your God,
your words were heard;
and I have come because of your words.
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia
withstood me twenty-one days;
and behold, Michael,
one of the chief princes,
came to help me,
for I had been left alone there
with the kings of Persia
Most important
prayer is an invitation
for us to rest in Him
God invites us to rest in him
everything must be submitted
to The Father in order to
enter into this rest
The word here is 'cast'
cast all our care on Him
Isaiah 61:1-3
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison
to those who are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn
To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise
for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called
trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord,
that He may be glorified.”
1 Peter 5:7
casting all your care upon Him,
for He cares for you.
Be sober, be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil
walks about like a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may devour.
Resist him, steadfast in the faith,
knowing that the same sufferings
are experienced by your
brotherhood in the world.
Psalm 55:22
Cast your burden on the Lord,
And He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit
the righteous to be moved.
Philippians 4:6,7
Be anxious for nothing,
but in everything by prayer
and supplication,
with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God,
which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts
and minds through Christ Jesus.
When we come to the place
where we can tarry
with the Lord one hour
something supernatural
happens.
we begin to understand the character
and purpose of God in
experiencing the anointing, glory
and power of God as never before
to achieve this one hour time
is a proccess.
so to start we need to make a commitment
our target is one hours but
we will start with 15mins
and each day add 5mins
as we grow deeper into this commitment
our goal is to receive the answer
literally to see the fullfillment
established here on earth
as it is in heaven.
we need to sense assurance
from the Holy Spirit
that it is accomplished
in the spiritual realm.
press in and exhaust every effort
breakthrough comes with a peace
the by faith we accept it
and in Gods timing
trusting Him for He is never late
dont underestimate the any early
chances if they feel like
they have been missed
He has a perfect timing
in every situation
After the break through
of our daily stratagey
we can move into Praise
and thanksgiving
for the victory we have
overcome.
sometimes the victory is long
and exhaustive
Luke 18:1-8
Then He spoke a parable to them,
that men always ought to pray
and not lose heart,
saying:
“There was in a certain city a judge
who did not fear God nor regard man.
Now there was a widow in that city;
and she came to him, saying,
‘Get justice for me
from my adversary.’
And he would not for a while;
but afterward he said within himself,
‘Though I do not fear God
nor regard man,
yet because this widow troubles me
I will avenge her,
lest by her continual coming she weary me.
Then the Lord said,
“Hear what the unjust judge said.
And shall God not avenge
His own elect
who cry out day and night to Him,
though He bears long with them?
I tell you that
He will avenge them speedily.
Nevertheless,
when the Son of Man comes,
will He really find faith on the earth?”
v5. is the key here
the exact meaning in this verse is
to beat the breast in grief
to lament or mourn.
to give trouble to.
The idea here is to be
persistanly and tenaciously
in showing our heart desire
to God.
When a response is delayed
continue to hold fast in prayer.
wait on Him and dont give up
the last thing we want is to give up
and see the fruit of our prayer
aborted.
Luke 11:8,10
So I say to you,
ask,
and it will be given to you;
seek,
and you will find;
knock,
and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who
asks receives,
and he who
seeks finds,
and to him who
knocks
it will be opened.
KEEP ON
persistance for victory
spoken in faith
pleasing to our Father.
we must stand on the ground
that its the Fathers will
for this to be done
Jesus said
Matthew 26:39
O My Father, if it is possible,
let this cup pass from Me;
nevertheless,
not as I will,
but as You will.
Psalm 55:16-18
As for me, I will call upon God,
And the Lord shall save me.
Evening and morning and at noon
I will pray, and cry aloud,
And He shall hear my voice
He has redeemed my soul
in peace from the battle
that was against me,
For there were many against me
Letting Nothing Stand in our way
obeying the urgency of the holy spirit
to pray immediatly
when an inner witness or urge
to pray for something or someone.
Our immediate responce
will change the direction of a persons life
or a situation
all for the purpose and glory of God
and their good.
Deeds and work are nothing compared
to what we can accomplish through
meeting with our Father in prayer.
Our asking for divine intervention
steaped in faith must not be
waisted so ask constantly
for an impartation of wisdom,
knowledge and spiritual understanding
to pull down strong holds.
2 Corinthians 10:4-6 PT
We can demolish every deceptive fantasy
that opposes God
and break through every arrogant attitude
that is raised up in defiance
of the true knowledge of God.
We capture,
like prisoners of war,
every thought and insist that it bow
in obedience to the Anointed One.
Since we are armed
with such dynamic weaponry,
we stand ready to punish
any trace of rebellion,
as soon as you choose
complete obedience.
setting time aside each day
to meet with our Lord and God
for the morning, noon, evening, night
these are the watch hour times
before breakfast
before lunch
before dinner
before sleep
Psalm 5:3
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord;
In the morning I will direct it to You,
And I will look up.
Psalm 88:13
But to You I have cried out,
O Lord,
And in the morning my prayer
comes before You.

Now in the morning,
having risen a long while before daylight,
He went out and departed
to a solitary place;
and there He prayed.

Evening and morning and at noon
I will pray, and cry aloud,
And He shall hear my voice.

And when He had sent the multitudes away,
He went up on the mountain
by Himself to pray.
Now when evening came,
He was alone there
Mark 4:46-49
And when He had sent them away,
He departed to the mountain to pray.
Now when evening came,
the boat was in the middle of the sea;
and He was alone on the land.
Then He saw them straining at rowing,
for the wind was against them.
Now about the fourth watch of the night
He came to them,
walking on the sea,
and would have passed them by.
And when they saw Him walking on the sea,
they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out
Luke 6:12
Now it came to pass in those days
that He went out to the mountain to pray,
and continued all night in prayer to God.
Acts 16:25
But at midnight
Paul and Silas were
praying and singing hymns to God,
and the prisoners were listening to them.
1 Timothy 5:5
Now she who is really a widow,
and left alone,
trusts in God
and continues in supplications
and prayers night and day.
We must keep in mind that Jesus
prayed early in the morning
and quite often all night
The place is not as important as
following the instructions of Jesus
Matthew 6:5,6
And when you pray,
you shall not be like the hypocrites.
For they love to pray standing
in the synagogues
and on the corners of the streets,
that they may be seen by men.
Assuredly, I say to you,
they have their reward.
But you, when you pray,
go into your room,
and when you have shut your door,
pray to your Father
who is in the secret place;
and your Father who sees
in secret will reward you openly.
While we are advised to set a time
aside for prayer alone
always be alert because the Holy Spirit
may quicken or give you
a complete picture at a glance
of a situation of special concern
we could be anywhere so
regardless of our situation
begin a press in.
Acts 1:13,14
And when they had entered,
they went up into the upper room
where they were staying:
Peter, James, John, and Andrew;
Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew;
James the son of Alphaeus
and Simon the Zealot;
and Judas the son of James.
These all continued with one accord
in prayer and supplication,
with the women and Mary
the mother of Jesus,
and with His brothers.
Acts 16:13
And on the Sabbath day
we went out of the city to the riverside,
where prayer was customarily made;
and we sat down
and spoke to the women
who met there.
Luke 5:16
So He Himself
often withdrew
into the wilderness
and prayed.
when we pray its important
to have less distractions
around us.
throughout the bible
there are references to
sitting, kneeling, bowing,
standing, with hands raised,
walking, and being prostrate,
completly flat on the ground.
allow the Holy Spirit to minister
to you as you begin
if you feel lead to
follow the leading of
Psalm 100 PT
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.
Chapter 2
