Overcoming Rejection in Marriage

Overcoming Rejection
in Marriage
Father, in the name of Jesus, __________ and __________
are delivered from this present evil age by the Son of the
Living God, and whom the Son has set free is free indeed.
Therefore, they are delivered from a spirit of rejection and
accepted in the Beloved to be holy and blameless in His sight.
They forgive all those who have wronged them, and their hurts
from the past are healed, for Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted.
They are God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved. They
clothe themselves with compassion, kindness, humility,
gentleness, and patience. They bear with each other and forgive
whatever grievances they may have against one another. They
forgive as the Lord forgave them. Over all these virtues, they put
on love, which binds them together in perfect unity.
When they were ch i l d re n , t h ey talked like ch i l d re n , thought
like ch i l d re n , and re a s oned like ch i l d re n ; but now they have
b e c ome husband and wife, and they are done with childish ways
and have put them aside. The blood of Christ,Who through the
eternal Sp i rit offered Himself without spot to God, purges their
c onsciences from dead works of selfishness, agitating passion s ,
and moral con f l i c t s , so they can serve the Living God. T h ey
touch not any unclean thing, for they are a son and daughter of
the Most High God. Satan’s power over them is brok e n , and his
s t rongholds are torn down. Sin no longer has dominion ove r
them and their household.
The love of God reigns supreme in their home, and the peace of
God acts as an umpire in all situations. Jesus is their Lord — spirit,
soul, and body. Amen.
