P RAYER FOR THE CHILD OF GOD
Father, You sent Jesus to bind
up ________’s heartaches and
to heal his/her emotional and physical pain. The Bible says
that You sent Your Word to heal him/her and to deliver ________
from all his/her destructions.
Lord, we believe; help our unbelief. We ask You to give
_________ a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into
mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of
Jesus, the Messiah.
Father, as ________ grows in grace and the knowledge of the
Lord Jesus Christ, help him/her to receive all the spiritual
blessings given by You. Thank You for giving him/her peace that
the world cannot take away.
Lord, Your Son, Jesus, gave His life for ________. He/she
has received Him as his/her Lord and is born again, desiring to
give the glory to You and to continue to fellowship with Your
family. Jesus lives in his/her heart, and he/she loves You and
loves
others as he/she loves himself/herself. Thank You that
__________ finds plenty of support from the Body of Christ so
that he/she will find encouragement, edification, and comfort.
Heavenly Father, in Your mercy strengthen ___________
and help him/her with his/her physical problems. Let him/her be
aware that he/she is not alone, for there is nothing that can
separate him/her from the love of Christ — not pain or stress or
persecution. He/she will come to the top of every circumstance or
trial through Jesus’ love.
Father, __________ is trusting in You and doing good; so
shall he/she dwell in the land and feed surely on Your
faithfulness,
and truly he/she shall be fed. ______________ delights
himself/herself also in You, and You will give him/her the desires
and secret petitions of his/her heart. We ask You to give
__________ the grace to commit his/her way to You, trusting in
You, and You will bring it to pass.
Help ________ to enter into Your rest, Lord, and to wait for
You without fretting himself/herself. May he/she cease from
unrighteous anger and wrath.
Father, You have not given ________ a spirit of fear, but of
power and of love and of a sound mind. Neither shall he/she be
confounded and depressed. You have given him/her beauty for
ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for
the spirit of heaviness, that You might be glorified.
The chastisement [needful to obtain] ________’s peace and
wellbeing was upon Jesus, and with the stripes [that wounded]
Him, he/she was healed and made whole.
As Your child, Father, _______________ has a joyful and
confident hope of eternal salvation. This hope will never
disappoint or delude him/her, for Your love has been poured out
in his/her heart through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to
him/her.

P RAYER FOR ONE WHO DOES NOT
KNOW JESUS AS LORD
Thank You for calling us to be Your agents of intercession for
________. By the grace of God we will build up the wall and
stand in the gap before You for _________ that he/she might be
spared from eternal destruction.
Lord, we acknowledge Your Son, Jesus, as the Lamb of God
Who takes away ____________’s sins. Thank You for sending the
Holy Spirit Who goes forth to convince and convict ___________
of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Your kindness leads him/her
to repent (to change his/her mind and inner man to accept Your
will). You are the One Who delivers ________ and draws him/her
to Yourself out of the control and dominion of darkness and
transfers him/her into the Kingdom of the Son of Your love.
Lord of the harvest, we ask You to thrust the perfect laborer
into ________’s path, a laborer to share Your Gospel in a special
way so that he/she will listen and understand it. We believe that
he/she will come to his/her senses — come out of the snare of the
devil who has held him/her captive — and make Jesus the Lord of
his/her life.
