Ministering to The Father Chapter 4
Exercise on Hearing from God
Lets just ponder for a moment
if someone said to you "house"
or "man" or "Woman"
in our minds we would'nt see
h-o-u-s-e
we would see an image of a house.
suppose we change these words to
"My Father", "My Mother", "House"
this brings a total different picture to us
Lets stop and quiet
our minds for a moment,
take yourself back to a
very pleasurable experience
you shared with a someone you like
this experience is not
mapped out in words
but is mapped out as
a scene imprinted in our mind
we can hear and see even
smell and touch as we ponder on it
re-living it.
In the same way the Holy Spirit
can impart to us what the Lord
desires of us through dreams
and visions.
these can be just a profound
as our past profound thoughts
and memories.
As we spend time with Him
meditating on the Word
we will encounter
Him and be drawn in to His
divine love,
joy that overflows,
peace that subdues,
patience that endure,
kindness in action,
a life of virtue,
faith that prevails,
gentless of heart
and strength of spirit
The personality of the Holy Spirit
has so much that we can discover
we can never know everything about Him
so there is always more to uncover.
different emotion and expression
diverse way that we can touch apon.
a sweatness and satifying pleasure
tangable and full of
the gifts of His spirit.
Be still and know that I am God
moments.
each of us experiences the Holy Spirit
in differnt way but only
when unity and one accord
are in action.
one may feel joy while
another peace.
some may want to sing
and others laugh.
dont presume the other is missing it.
centre your heart on him
and he will minister to you
using us as conduits of His gifts
dont presume the Holy Spirit
is operating only in one way
He has many aspects operating
through different ones.
some will prophecy while
other may have a word
As we yeild to Him
He will choose which way
to move through us
1 Corinthian 12:4-7
There are diversities of gifts,
but the same Spirit.
There are differences of ministries,
but the same Lord.
And there are diversities of activities,
but it is the same God who works all in all.
But the manifestation of the Spirit
is given to each one for the profit of all:
So Lets look at His differnt aspects
John 16:8
And when He has come,
He will convict the world of sin,
and of righteousness,
and of judgment:
He comes to convince or plead
with the unbeliever
three different things
sin, righteousness and judgement.
this is His draw card
to bring unbelievers into
the kingdom of God.
The Holy Spirit has a
convicting presence and power.
this is a difficult time and can be painful
for the unsaved
many emotions are experienced.
Are part is not to interupt
but in pray remove obsticles
He shows us to pray about.
lending ourselves as assistants
to Him
.
Another aspect is cleansing.
we may sense a righteous indignation
rising within to take authority
casting down the enemy.
destroying and crush
the head of the devils work.
Jesus was manifested for this purpose.
there is a cleansing that takes place
in the temple of us
done by the Holy Spirit
spiritual fire comes forth
and burns off the dross.
Ephesians 4:26-28
Be angry, and do not sin”:
do not let the sun go down on your wrath,
nor give place to the devil.
Let him who stole steal no longer,
but rather let him labor,
working with his hands
what is good,
that he may have something
to give him who has need.
It is the Holy cry of the
inner man by the Holy Spirit
whereby the Spirit of God
and our spirit in union
cry out against the
immoral, unjust destructive
things against
God's Kingdom
and to the body, soul
and spirit of man.
At this point the Holy Spirit may even
point out something in our own lives
that we need to deal with
before we can proceed to
help Him in His work.
This can be painfull but very fruitful
so press in with repentance
for a release.
many great people of faith have
forgotten pride in ther lives
and these things can be revealed
as we pray for others.
God's Grace is sufficient
as we allow the Holy to drive out
these things, its then
we experience the cleansing
of His personality.
.
Then we come to
fellowship and communion
This is were He exchanges
His thoughts, feelings, ideas, opinions.
It is His desire for us to
come into His presence
This is a heart to heart experience
not only will he share whats
on His heart but He
wants to know whats on your heart.
His desire is have the same fellowship
He has with His father, with us.
The whole of John 17
is centred on this and His priestly role
I encourge you to read and meditate
on this chapter to better your relationship
with Him
John 17:20,21 PT
And I ask not only for these disciples,
but also for all those who will one day
believe in me through their message.
I pray for them all to be joined together as one
even as you and I,
Father, are joined together as one.
I pray for them to become one with us
so that the world
will recognize that you sent me.
There are times when the Lord
just wants to commune with us.
Prayer, praise, worship, menditation
and studying the Word.
The more we
commune with The Lord
the more we will know Him and
the more sensitive we will be
to other different aspects
of His personality
.
Compassion comes from an inner emotion
a yearning deep within ourselves
an identity deep inside our heart
to bring about the miraculous.
when we are filled with compassion
there births a demonstration
of the power of God
Jesus was filled with compassion
and it was followed by
an out pouring of God's power.
Healing, raising the dead,
casting out demons,
cleansing and leading
the lost sheep back to His fold.
Matthew 9:36
But when He saw the multitudes,
He was moved with compassion for them,
because they were weary
and scattered,
like sheep having no shepherd
Matthew 14:14
And when Jesus went out
He saw a great multitude;
and He was moved with compassion for them,
and healed their sick.
Matthew 20:34
So Jesus had compassion
and touched their eyes.
And immediately their eyes
received sight,
and they followed Him.
Mark 1:41
Then Jesus, moved with compassion,
stretched out His hand and touched him,
and said to him,
“I am willing; be cleansed.”
Mark 6:34
Then Jesus, moved with compassion,
stretched out His hand
and touched him, and said to him,
“I am willing; be cleansed.”
Mark 8:2
I have compassion on the multitude,
because they have now continued
with Me three days
and have nothing to eat.
Luke 7:13
When the Lord saw her,
He had compassion on her
and said to her,
“Do not weep.”
Another aspect is Counseling
Our counselor, The Holy Spirit
will guide us into all truth.
Not on the holy Spirits authority
but what ever He hears,
He will speak
The Holy Spirit will teach
and instruct through us
He not only gives advice
but exchanges ideas
and opinions so that we can
set a direction or reach a dicision.
He will come along side to help
but we need to ask in prayer.
He is the perfect source
of wisdom, knowledge
and spiritual understanding.
there will be times when wisdom
will come that even we did'nt know we had.
John 14:26 PT
But when the Father
sends the Spirit of Holiness,
the One like me who sets you free,
he will teach you all things in my name.
And he will inspire you to
remember every word
that I’ve told you.
Another aspect of His personality
is the Commanding
His command terminates
all debating and actions
Power to control in the spirit
and to require obedience.
Luke 8:24,25
And they came to Him and awoke Him,
saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!”
Then He arose and rebuked
the wind and the raging of the water.
And they ceased,
and there was a calm.
But He said to them,
“Where is your faith?”
when we issue a command
in the power of the
Spirit of the Lord
You have authority.
we dont have to ask for it
or demand it,
its yours by virtue
of the Spirit of God
We cannot issue this unless
we are directed by the
Spirit of the Lord.
Prayer is an important part of
knowing the will of God
When we fast and pray
the Lord will give instruction.
Conquering is another aspect
of His charactor
The over coming power of the Lord
that which causes us to be victorious
Its also linked with joy,
triumph and exultation
that burst forth when we know
victory has been won.
1 Samual 17:45,46
Then David said to the Philistine,
“You come to me with a sword,
with a spear, and with a javelin.
But I come to you in
the name of the Lord of hosts,
the God of the armies of Israel,
whom you have defied.
This day the Lord will deliver you
into my hand,
and I will strike you
and take your head from you.
And this day
I will give the carcasses of
the camp of the Philistines
to the birds of the air
and the wild beasts of the earth,
that all the earth may know
that there is a God in Israel.
Exodus 15:1-7
Then Moses and the children of Israel
sang this song to the Lord,
and spoke, saying: “I will sing to the Lord,
For He has triumphed gloriously!
The horse and its rider
He has thrown into the sea!
The Lord is my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation;
He is my God, and I will praise Him;
My father's God, and I will exalt Him.
The Lord is a man of war;
The Lord is His name.
Pharaoh's chariots and his army
He has cast into the sea;
His chosen captains also
are drowned in the Red Sea.
The depths have covered them;
They sank to the bottom like a stone.
“Your right hand, O Lord,
has become glorious in power;
Your right hand, O Lord,
has dashed the enemy in pieces.
And in the greatness of Your excellence
You have overthrown those who rose against You;
You sent forth Your wrath;
It consumed them like stubble
have you ever had a song of the Lord
just pop into your spirit
your mind just begins to sing it
then you look back and
recognise you've been reciting
the harmony for some time.
This is the Holy Spirit singing
within our hearts.
this is one way the Holy Spirit
can bring comfort, joy, peace
direction and guidence.
some songs can even bring victory
to a situation.
In very special occasions
it may even be a new song.
Its very exciting to sense
the move of the Holy Spirit
in between songs at services
the song may have finished
but the spiritual song can
continue if the song lead is
discerning the Holy Spirits lead.
when the Holy Spirit leads
it can be in many other different ways
the most important thing for us
is to sense if it is
the Lord calling.
1 Thessalonians 5:21
but be faithful to examine them
by putting them to the test,
and afterward hold tightly
to what has proven to be right.
Put your feelings and opinions
to one side.
Everything must be
in line with Gods'word
to hold any ground.
Keys:
Never Look to man,
always to Jesus
God will always confirm with His Word.
Sense the humlilty
and make sure it points to God or Jesus
Never set time limits,
His time is not our timing
many prophecies have
not come to pass yet
When we receive from the Lord
it will be in His timing
Acts 7:17
But when the time of the promise
drew near which God had sworn to Abraham,
the people grew and multiplied in Egypt
Acts 11:28,29
Then one of them, named Agabus,
stood up and showed by the Spirit
that there was going to be a great famine
throughout all the world,
which also happened
in the days of Claudius Caesar.
Then the disciples,
each according to his ability,
determined to send relief
to the brethren dwelling in Judea.
Revelation 1:1
The Revelation of Jesus Christ,
which God gave Him to show His servants
things which must shortly take place.
And He sent and signified it
by His angel to His servant John,
Isaiah 2:2
Now it shall come to pass in the latter days
That the mountain of the Lord's house
Shall be established on the top of the mountains,
And shall be exalted above the hills;
And all nations shall flow to it.
Isaiah 46:10,11
Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things
that are not yet done,
Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure,’
Calling a bird of prey from the east,
The man who executes My counsel,
from a far country.
Indeed I have spoken it;
I will also bring it to pass.
I have purposed it;
I will also do it.
Away line anything we receive
with the Word of God
The Lord will never
open anything to us
beyond what He has
told us through His word.
Caution if it sounds
to good to be true
or exactly what we have been
looking for.
If it confirms what you
thought the Lord was trying
to tell you it must still
lign up with His word.
This is a time of testing.
God wants us to test it
with His sword.
If it apposses Gods Word
we must throw it away.
His word is solid and
will never deceive us.
When we look at the word
its important to grasp
the whole meaning so
we must pray asking for
wisdom, knowledge
and spiritual understanding
James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom,
let him ask of God,
who gives to all liberally
and without reproach,
and it will be given to him.
Colossians 1:9
For this reason we also,
since the day we heard it,
do not cease to pray for you,
and to ask that you may be filled
with the knowledge of His will
in all wisdom
and spiritual understanding;
There are times when the enemy
will use scripture and twist
its meaning by
taking it out of context.
we cannot take parts of scripture
to confirm what the Lord is saying
God does use scripture to confirm
but not out of context
we are to learn to judge
according to the whole scripture
2 Peter 1:20,21
knowing this first,
that no prophecy of Scripture
is of any private interpretation,
for prophecy never came
by the will of man,
but holy men of God
spoke as they were moved
by the Holy Spirit.
Sometime we may receive a word
from the Lord but not
understand it straight away
At times like these we must seek.
begin to pray asking for
knowledge, wisdom
or spiritual understanding
Allow the Holy Spirit
to bring it to light,
reveal its meaning
write it down and meditate
on it to bring it to pass.
Allow it to be tested by time.
it could be an answer for
a future time and when it arrives
the Holy Spirit will confirm it to you
bringing it to rememberance.
Sometimes its just to let us know
we are in the right place
and build our faith to the next level.
Many have fallen in to judging
others based on what we
have gone through.
this is a mistake.
none of us are the same
and each has their own journey
to go through.
Only the Lord knows what
each of us are going through
so curve your judgement
and seek to descern asking
The Lord to reveal the hidden
depths of what they are going through
remember not to loose the Lords trust.
we may need to lift someone up
but not reveal our hand
in the situation.
remeber that what might mean
something to us may mean
something completly different
to someone else.
Proverbs 14:10 Passion
Don’t expect anyone else to fully understand
both the bitterness and the joys
of all you experience in your life.
Romans 14:4 Passion
Who do you think you are to sit
in judgment of someone else’s household servant?
His own master is the one to
evaluate whether he succeeds or fails.
And God’s servants will succeed,
for God’s power supports
them and enables them to stand.
We have to remember
that it is God working through us
to minister to other
we become conducts
for His purpose
1 Corinthians 2:11-13
For what man knows
the things of a man
except the spirit of the man
which is in him?
Even so no one knows the things of God
except the Spirit of God.
Now we have received,
not the spirit of the world,
but the Spirit who is from God,
that we might know the things
that have been freely given to us by God.
These things we also speak,
not in words which man's wisdom teaches
but which the Holy Spirit teaches,
comparing spiritual things
with spiritual.
The enemy may sometimes
bring fear and confusion
with pictures, dreams,
or words.
these are never from the Lord
God is not a God of confusion.
He will not bring or try to
dismantle our faith with
tactics of fear or loss
or dominate us or
force us to do something
which clearly is wrong
and against His Word.
Gods Word will always bring
a sense of Power, Love
and a soundness to any
situation which will
quiet our minds.
we need to seek His presence
which will bring peace
to the situation by meditating
on what He has said.
as we seek the Lord for the answer
the Holy Spirit will reveal scriptures
we have meditated on
allowing us to Stand Up,
opposing the enemies attack.
remember this may be nothing to
do with us and everything
to do with someone else
this is a time of pressing in
birthing a victory and
taking ground.
there will be times in the spirit
we may be asked to just sit,
then other times to walk.
or even make a stand
or resist satans asignments.
which ever way the Holy Spirit leads,
remember that
Jesus was manifest for this purpose
so that satan cannot control us
and we can rest in Gods Peace.
1 John 3:8
He who sins is of the devil,
for the devil has sinned from the beginning.
For this purpose the Son of God
was manifested,
that He might destroy
the works of the devil.
Luke 10:18,19
And He said to them,
“I saw Satan fall
like lightning from heaven.
Behold,
I give you the authority
to trample on
serpents and scorpions,
and over all the power of the enemy,
and nothing shall by any means
hurt you.
Romans 16:19,20
For your obedience has
become known to all.
Therefore I am glad on your behalf;
but I want you to be wise
in what is good,
and simple concerning evil.
And the God of peace
will crush Satan
under your feet shortly.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you,
My peace I give to you;
not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.
Romans 14:17
for the kingdom of God
is not eating and drinking,
but righteousness and peace
and joy in the Holy Spirit
1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not the author
of confusion
but of peace,
as in all the churches
of the saints.
2 Corinthians 2:10,11
Now whom you forgive anything,
I also forgive.
For if indeed I have forgiven anything,
I have forgiven that one
for your sakes in the presence of Christ,
lest Satan should take advantage of us;
for we are not ignorant of his devices
2 Timothy 1:7 Passion Translation
For God will never give
you the spirit of fear,
but the Holy Spirit who gives you
mighty power, love,
and self-control.
Proverbs 2:1-12
My son, if you receive my words,
And treasure my commands within you,
So that you incline your ear to wisdom,
And apply your heart to understanding;
Yes, if you cry out for discernment,
And lift up your voice for understanding,
If you seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
Then you will understand the fear of the Lord,
And find the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come
knowledge and understanding;
He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;
He guards the paths of justice,
And preserves the way of His saints.
Then you will understand
righteousness and justice,
Equity and every good path.
When wisdom enters your heart,
And knowledge is pleasant to your soul,
Discretion will preserve you;
Understanding will keep you,
To deliver you from the way of evil,
From the man who speaks perverse things,
As we move along we will
experience and observe
many things and God desires
us to write them, recording
what He has designed.
all through scripture there
are records where prophets
have recorded Gods desire.
It is no different know
God desire us to keep records
of His ways and thoughts.
impression, words or
scriptures He gives us.
all of them are usefull
and will be for something.
Remember what we write
now may not come to pass
in weeks, months, years.
but what we write
will be for us to use.
One thing is certain
writing it down will increase
our Love, joy peace and all the gifts
God desires us to have
Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, self-control.
Against such there is no law.
And those who are Christ's have
crucified the flesh
with its passions and desires.
If we live in the Spirit,
let us also walk in the Spirit.
So let us mark todays date
on the page for time
List everyone God has
revealed to us for ministering to.
You may like to drawing or just
doddling down the side of the page
the many objective is
to be in His presence
allowing His glory
opening heaven above us
coming into His santuary
howbe it by Thanksgiving,
praise and worship.
Psalm 100
Make a joyful shout to the Lord,
all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence
with singing.
Know that the Lord,
He is God;
It is He who has made us,
and not we ourselves;
We are His people
and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates
with thanksgiving,
And into His courts
with praise.
Be thankful to Him,
and bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures
to all generations.
When something is revealed to us
there is a time on our part
to respond to Him
It could be a thank you
or singing or a shout
of victory to acknowledge.
then main thing is to
pause ever now and then
and listen
WHen we respond to the Lord
there will be a sharpening
of our ability to hear.
there must be a freedom
of conversation on both sides
but at the same time
we need to be in obedience.
ready to move on what
He gives us to do.
Taking time to Bless God
for what He is accomplishing
in our prayers is important.
when we finish there is an important
part of joy, gratitude, praise
which is followed by sealing off
of the work of the Holy Spirit
for the ground taken.
The Lords prayer
opens and closes
giving us a good example.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down
in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths
of righteousness
For His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk
through the valley of the
shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy
shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell
in the house of the Lord
Forever.
Always give the Holy Spirit
time to lead you.
there is no set way to enter in
so dont get fustrated
with thinking you have to
do it a set way.
Sometimes He surprises us
with something different
just be faithful to
when He calls us to prayer.
As we become obedient
to His call.
the power will begin to flow
even when we dont understand
what He is revealing,
just being obedient with
faith that He is in control.
He will bring an awakening
even a strengthen to
the situation so
seek His peace.
When we start to pray
its good to run over
the basic facts
Pray the Word of God.
seek His precious promises to us and
always give the Holy Spirit control.
be like a solder in His Army
The Commander in Chief
is Jesus Christ.
Allow the Holy Spirit to
show the revelation,
burden or need.
Try not to rely on
your own insight
Romans 8:26 Passion
And in a similar way,
the Holy Spirit takes hold of us
in our human frailty
to empower us in our weakness.
For example,
at times we don’t even know how to pray,
or know the best things to ask for.
But the Holy Spirit rises up
within us to super-intercede
on our behalf,
pleading to God
with emotional sighs
too deep for words.
Its good for us to pray
in our native tongue
for understanding
or even singing
in the spirit as we are lead.
1 Corinthians 14:15 PT
So here’s what I’ve concluded.
I will pray in the Spirit,
but I will also pray
with my mind engaged.
I will sing rapturous praises
in the Spirit,
but I will also sing
with my mind engaged.
When our heart is engaged
and we are praying in faith
we can expect divine intervention
praying in confidence
2 Corinthians 4:18 PT
because we don’t focus our attention
on what is seen
but on what is unseen.
For what is seen is temporary,
but the unseen realm is eternal.
Hebrew 11:6 PT
And without faith living within us
it would be impossible to please God.
For we come to God in faith
knowing that he is real
and that he rewards the faith
of those who give all their passion
and strength into seeking him.
1 John 5:14,15
Since we have this confidence,
we can also have
great boldness before him,
for if we present any request
agreeable to his will,
he will hear us.
And if we know that he hears us
in whatever we ask,
we also know that we have obtained
the requests we ask of him.
Probibly one of the most important
points to mention.
take time out to listen.
communication is always two ways.
and this is part of being successful
in intercession.
Keep praying to you get the answer.
you may find countless distractions
but press in for the answer
keep going till there is a release
or and assurance from the Holy Spirit
to assignment is complete.
Luke 11:5-10 PT
Then Jesus gave this illustration:
“Imagine what would happen
if you were to go to one of your friends
in the middle of the night
and pound on his door and shout,
‘Please!
Do you have some food you can spare?
A friend just arrived at my house
unexpectedly and I have nothing to serve him.’
But your friend says,
‘Why are you bothering me?
The door’s locked
and my family and I are all in bed.
Do you expect me to get up
and give you our food?’
But listen
because of your shameless impudence,
even though it’s the middle of the night,
your friend will get up out of his bed
and give you all that you need.
So it is with your prayers.
Ask and you’ll receive.
Seek and you’ll discover.
Knock on heaven’s door,
and it will one day open for you.
Every persistent person
will get what he asks for.
Every persistent seeker
will discover what he needs.
And everyone who knocks persistently
will one day find an open door.
Luke 18:1-8 PT
One day Jesus taught the apostles
to keep praying and never stop or lose hope.
He shared with them this illustration:
“In a certain town there was a civil judge,
a thick-skinned and godless man
who had no fear of others’ opinions.
And there was a poor widow
in that town who kept pleading with the judge,
‘Grant me justice
and protect me against my oppressor!’
“He ignored her pleas for quite some time,
but she kept asking.
Eventually he said to himself,
‘This widow keeps annoying me,
demanding her rights,
and I’m tired of listening to her.
Even though I’m not a religious man
and don’t care about the opinions of others,
I’ll just get her off my back
by answering her claims for justice
and I’ll rule in her favor.
Then she’ll leave me alone.’”
The Lord continued,
“Did you hear what the ungodly judge said
that he would answer her persistent request?
Don’t you know that God,
the true judge,
will grant justice to all
of his chosen ones who
cry out to him night and day?
He will pour out his Spirit upon them.
He will not delay to answer you
and give you what you ask for.
God will give swift justice
to those who don’t give up.
So be ever praying, ever expecting,
just like the widow was with the judge.
Yet when the Son of Man comes back,
will he find this kind of
persistent faithfulness in his people?”
there is a need for flexability
and speed in our response
this will give and be
critical to victory.
God greatly favours us
when we respond
in instant obedience
and when you have spare moments
meditate on the word
listen to audio bibles
renew your mind
making sure all sin is under
the blood of Jesus Christ
check yourself for unforgiveness
in your heart.
Joshua 1:8
This Book of the Law shall
not depart from your mouth,
but you shall meditate in it day and night,
that you may observe to do
according to all that is written in it.
For then you will make your way prosperous,
and then you will have good success.
Have I not commanded you?
Be strong and of good courage;
do not be afraid, nor be dismayed,
for the Lord your God is
with you wherever you go.”
Proverbs 4:20-24
Listen carefully, my dear child,
to everything that I teach you,
and pay attention to
all that I have to say.
Fill your thoughts with my words
until they penetrate
deep into your spirit.
Then, as you unwrap my words,
they will impart true life
and radiant health
into the very core
of your being.
So above all,
guard the affections
of your heart,
for they affect all that you are.
Pay attention to the welfare
of your innermost being,
for from there flows
the wellspring of life.
Avoid dishonest speech
and pretentious words.
Be free from using perverse
words no matter what!
Hebrews 10:22 PT
we come closer to God
and approach him
with an open heart,
fully convinced by faith
that nothing will keep us
at a distance from him.
For our hearts have been sprinkled
with blood to remove impurity
and we have been freed
from an accusing conscience
and now we are clean,
unstained,
and presentable to God
inside and out!
1 John 1:7, 9
But if we keep living in
the pure light that surrounds him,
we share unbroken fellowship
with one another,
and the blood of Jesus,
his Son,
continually cleanses us
from all sin.
But if we freely admit our sins
when his light uncovers them,
he will be faithful to
forgive us every time.
God is just to forgive us
our sins because of Christ,
and he will continue
to cleanse us from
all unrighteousness.
